Technology has enabled new revenue opportunities and Realvibez Media LLC is taking advantage of fragmentation and new distribution channels to promote Caribbean entertainment culture. While Reggae is a multi-billion per year industry, few Caribbean entities earn a significant portion of that revenue because they do not control the Marketing/Promotion or the Distribution of that content. Realvibez Media and its partners are able to control these vital aspects.
Realvibez Media seeks out content and strategic partnerships with content-owners that can be monetized. There are multiple distribution channels to reach consumers and we aim to take advantage of the best opportunities.
Realvibez Media also owns and operates Realvibez.com, a leading online provider of media for consumers of Caribbean music culture. This brand currently encompasses a destination website and channels with major partners. In 2008, Realvibez will launch an On-Demand channel on a new IPTV service, bringing Realvibez content to televisions for the first time.
Our new Merchandise Unit will be partnering with Caribbean acts to create and market merchandise to their fans around the World. The first deal is with T.O.K., a leading Reggae group from Jamaica.
